I created the Black365.US Calendar to let the world know that we are more than just athletes, drug-dealers, gang members and entertainers. This 365 Days of Black Facts Calendar showcases the fact that we have contributed not only to Black History, but to World History, everyday!

I purchased one for my grandson who wanted to know more about the Black heritage.  He is in the 5th grade and is familiar with his maternal side of the family but wanted more information on the paternal (Black) side of the family heritage.  He had to do an essay and guess what, yes, the calendar helped him prepare for his subject matter.  I am looking forward to purchasing one for my home and another one for him.  He is actually saving them as a collection!!

I genuinely enjoyed my calendar and learned so much I had to purchase one for my sister and nephew as well. I shared it with a friend of mine and his son and they spent hours discussing the various facts. I am definitely purchasing my 2011 calendar and look forward to the new facts that are there. Thank you so much for creating these calendars for us. I look forward to sharing them with my young mentees as well as other students. We truly have a great heritage.

As an educator,  I have used my Black365 to teach my students about their history. It’s been an awesome experience and a great conversation starter. I will definitely continue to spread the word.

I purchased a calendar because we need to be reminded on a daily basis, JUST who we are. It is a “subtle” way of remembering the amazing accomplishments we have produced (in spite) of the oppression, we have endured as a people. It is up-lifting and encouraging to know, that  “we have over-come” in so many ways. It shows us that like so many people in the bible “people like Jacob, Joseph, and Daniel”, we have “prospered” in a land that was hostile to us.
