MOMMY ARE YOU FROM AFRICA?

When I was a law student in France, I usually organized workshops in elementary, middle and high schools focusing on Africa and presenting my country Cameroon.

Then the idea of having a game that will teach more on Africa as we are playing it came. Even if the Idea was there, I did not pursue it, up to the time I moved in the USA where my four children were born.

As a student, I was teaching French students, but now as a mother I have my own children looking at me and asking:

“Mommy are you from Africa?”

They learned so few things about Africa at school and have the impression that it is a far away country…

My five years daughter, Joelle who was in kindergarten concerned me the most when she said: Mommy did you have Aids when you was a child in Africa? She had watched a video showing the disaster caused by Aids at school and has concluded that all African children have Aids.

I knew it was the time to bring out the game out of the closet; it will benefit not only my children but also all children who are learning about Africa.

The Africa Memory Game was born after many efforts and friends support. The Game has 150 questions /answers on History, Geography, Languages and Culture.

Majors benefits of the Game:

· Education is the key for global communication, knowledge, peace and understanding. The earlier you start the better it is.
